- Who is eligible to register on the AWPO website as an Employer?
Registration on the AWPO web-site is open to all companies, desirous of searching candidates from APA’s database.
- Do I need to pay for registering on the AWPO website as an Employer?
Registration on the AWPO web-site for employers is free. There are no charges applicable.

What is the procedure for registering on the AWPO Website as an Employer?
The procedure for registration is as follows :-
- Logon AWPO website.
- Click the hyperlink ‘REGISTRATION’ given on top of Home page under head ‘Employers.‘Registered User – For Employers’ page is opened. Click the hyperlink ‘Click here to Register’.

LOGIN REGISTRATION FORM – EMPLOYERS’ is opened. Fill up this form and press ‘Submit’ button given at the end of this form.
- THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING YOUR INFORMATION page is opened.Press ‘Continue’ button given at the end of this page.
- Your My Page is opened which is pivtol for your business with AWPO. Every heading is a hyperlink for a specific task mentioned against each as shown below:-
(a) Post a JVC. Allows posting of employer’s manpower requirements on a formatted Job Vacancy Card.
(b) My Posted Jobs. You can view / edit / delete the jobs that have been posted by you.
(c) Change Password. You may like to change password regularly in your own interest.
(d) Edit Registration Details. Allows editing of registration particulars.
(e) Search Resumes/Create Panels. Provides a set of parameters to create panel of suitable candidate based on multiple QRs against a post.
(f)Logout Logout from ‘My Pages’ and return to ‘Home Page’
(g) Feedback Facility to send e-mail to AWPO for your feedback or a querry.
(h) Contact Us Contact address of AWPO with telephone Numbers, FAX and e-mail IDs.

How much time will it take for my details to get authenticated by AWPO?
Once you submit your details, the same will be authenticated by AWPO within two working days after which you can start using the services of the AWPO website for employers.
- How can I change my password?
In case you wish to have your password changed, you can do so by clicking the “Change Password” link given in “My Pages”.
- What is a Job Vacancy Card (JVC)?
A Job Vacancy Card is a document which specifies the qualitative requirements that an employer has projected, pertaining to a specific vacancy offered by him / her.
- Can I download a blank JVC?
Yes, it is possible to download a blank JVC. You can do so by clicking on ‘Job Vacancy Card (JVC)’ under heading ‘Employers’ on the Home Page.
- How do I post a JVC on the site?
You may take the following steps to post a JVC on the site -

Register yourself as an employer by filling up the Employer Registration form.

After your details are authenticated by AWPO, the facility to post JVC on the site is enabled.

You can now log-in using your user-id and password and post a JVC on the site, which can be accessed by candidates also.
- How can I modify my posted JVC?
Modification of posted JVC is possible by going into the “My Pages” section, clicking on the link ‘My Posted Jobs’ and selecting the desired JVC Job Title from the appearing web page. Make the required changes and click on the “Update” button.
- How can I search / draw a panel for suitable candidates?
Employers can search for suitable candidates by using the following steps :-

Open your ‘My Pages’. Press ‘Search Resume/Crete Panels’ hyperlink.
- ‘SEARCH FOR CANDIDATES’ page is opened. Select Category and thereafter select/fill values in given parameters as per your requirement. It is NOT necessary to select values for all the parameters

Press ‘Search’ button.
- Result is displayed with list of suitable candidates according to the parameters given/selected by you.

If individual candidate’s details are to be viewed, the sub-heading, ‘Category with rank’ e.g. : ‘OFFICER : BRIG’ may be clicked. It displays ‘Resume – Category’ page showing summary of candidate with three buttons – ‘Contact Candidate’, View Contact Details’ and ‘View Resume’.

There is a checkbox against each candidate. Select the checkbox of the desired candidates.

Once you have selected desired candidates, press ‘Create Panel’ button given at the bottom of the result page. List showing particulars of candidate is displayed. You can download this list in MS Excel.
- How long would “My posted jobs” be available on the website?
The jobs posted by employers have a set shelf life of 60 days.
- How will I receive the candidates’ response against my posted jobs?
The candidates interested in applying to the specified job can apply by clicking on the button ‘Apply Online” which appears at the end of each job listing.

How do I contact the candidates who feature in my search?
The candidates short-listed by the employer can be contacted through the Army Welfare Placement Organisation.
- How can I access my already uploaded details for viewing / editing?
In order to access already uploaded details, click on the ‘My Pages” section and the Edit Registration Details link given therein. You can edit the details already uploaded through this section. |

- Do I need to pay for absorbing any candidates registered with AWPO ?
There are no charges payable by employers for recruiting of candidates registered with AWPO. It is a free of cost service for employers. However, employers are required to give a feedback to the AWPO incorporating details of candidates called for interview / selection, those responded / appeared for selection and those selected for employment.
- What is the reach of AWPO?
AWPO has an all India reach through its Placement Nodes (PNs) and Placement Cells (PCs), which cover the length and breadth of the country.
- How should I approach AWPO/send my manpower requirements to AWPO ?
